AI Data Usage Policy
How we protect and process your data with AI.
AI & Data Usage Policy
Last updated: 12 October 2026
This policy explains how Nityasha processes data through AI models and automation. It forms part of our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. We do not train on your personal data
- Nityasha does not use your calendar data, task names, descriptions, personal notes, or reflection entries to train or fine-tune general-purpose or foundation AI models.
- Data sent to AI providers for runtime inference is processed to answer your request, under provider terms that prohibit using that data to train their general models. Where available, zero-data-retention endpoints are used.
2. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)
You can connect your own OpenRouter or other model-provider keys. When you do, your relationship with that provider is direct, and their API terms apply. Provider API terms typically prohibit using API data for training.
3. What AI does in Nityasha
AI features are assistive and operate on the data you direct them to use:
- Natural language input: parsing text or voice (for example, "move my 2pm sync by 30 minutes") into structured task updates.
- Planning assistance: drafting and adjusting your schedule based on your tasks, priorities, and constraints.
- Summaries: condensing notes, reflections, and day activity into summaries you request.
AI output is automated and can be wrong. Review important output before relying on it.
4. Connected agents (MCP and APIs)
- Your connected agents (for example, Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw) access Nityasha only through authenticated connections and tokens you create, and only with the permissions you grant.
- You can revoke a connection or token at any time from your settings.
- Actions your agents take through Nityasha are limited by the rules and permissions you configure; review agent activity regularly.
5. Control and deletion
- You choose which integrations and agents to connect, and you can disconnect them at any time.
- You can delete your account and associated data from settings, subject to the retention obligations described in our Privacy Policy.
